How to transport cupcakes

Does anyone know where I could find a container that will transport cupcakes easily. I think I've seen such a thing before where it had 2 levels and holes for each cupcake so they don't slide about in the container.

I've searched the internet high and low and can't find what I'm looking for.

That's nice. I wish they sold them in the UK.

Laymon - I use a box from Lakeland, it's the TrayBake one. It's big and thin, meant for tray bakes, but I find it works well for cupcakes, so long as they're not too tall.

I just think the UK is a bit behind the States when it comes to cupcakes.

cake boxes in the UK
We are a bit behind in the UK, but cupcake decorating is really taking off. There is a cracking little company that do a massive range of cake boxes called www.cakeboxesdirect.co.uk. They do lots of styles and they do inserts etc. I will definately be ordering more for our cupcake deliveries.

Re: official website for the carrier
I was coming on here to post the Cupcake Courier. I don't know where you are though, because I've never found those in the UK. :(

Darn it. I'm sorry. I am clueless on this. I didn't know you couldn't buy stuff online from here and get it shipped. Hope you can find something in the UK. I'll look around just in case.

I use one of these, I have one of the big flat ones which is perfect for cupcakes; they hold between 12-15 and as long as you carry the flat (I just stick it in the bottom of a carrier bag) then you shouldn't have a problem.

This is the closest I've found, although I prefer the look of the Cupcake Courier, and I wish this was two tiered. It seems a waste of space to have a big high lid over small cakes. And I'm not sure the indentations are deep enough to hold the cakes stable. But it IS in the UK, and there are some FAB things on the rest of the site.

I might splurge and get one anyway - there are loads of other things on that site I'd like to get, so I could have a shopping spree after next pay day. If you do get one, post and let us know how well it works.
